League Vision

The HRLax League encourages and fully supports the growth of local lacrosse throughout the Hampton Roads region, and seeks to provide lacrosse opportunities for student athletes, in public high school, within this region.  With founding values of sportsmanship, team play and integrity, HRLax believes in providing recreational and advanced level competition for all ages, while working towards lacrosse becoming a VHSL sport in the Hampton Roads region.

League Mission

HRLax mission is for lacrosse to become a VHSL sport in the region.  It is also to provide high school players residing within the region a healthful, enjoyable lacrosse experience at both the recreational and advanced levels, and developing positive, lifelong qualities from lessons learned on the field.

Standard Operating Procedures

The HRLax League believes in fostering a lacrosse community that encourages understanding, appreciation, and acceptance of all by the league's players and parents, volunteer coaches, and league leadership.  Additionally, HRLax is committed to the belief that this broad representation, and participation, adds significantly to the lacrosse experience of all involved, and these experiences are further enhanced by the league's embracing of underrepresented and underserved communities.
